Design/Project Engineer Position description:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar Engineering qualification (example: Building Services)

Strong understanding and written, of English, but must be a Portuguese National.

Strong mechanical engineering ‘Design’ experience in Heating, Ventilation and A/C is essential, with experience of Project installation in Portugal. A knowledge of Renewable Energy systems would be a necessity. Practical Installation experience would be a strong advantage.

Will need to work in a Team or individually, therefore to demonstrate good interpersonal skills. You will have strong client relationship skills and the ability to manage and develop the work of others. You will also have a strong and current technical knowledge and the competence to guide and teach others. Ability to solve problems and meet project deadlines. Ability to understand and create CAD design drawings and write Functional Design Specifications.

A knowledge of Engineering Consultant procedures, used for Construction (Building Services) Commercial and/or Domestic projects in the Portugal and Internationally, would beneficial to the candidate.

Experience, Depth of knowledge and Confidence will be important to Lead the Training Program, for Contractors involved with our projects, and subsequent Project support procedures.

You will be reporting to the Engineering Director, the Design Engineer will take full responsibility for all contracts assigned.

Will be required to provide technical direction to our Technicians and Contractors, that support our Installations.

Assume that the Position would reporting to the office in Cascais, Portugal.

Driving Licence required also required.
